The Team

Steve graduated from Riceville Community School in 1972, graduated from Northeast Iowa Community College in Calmar in 1974 with a degree in Ag Business, and then returned to begin farming with his father on the home farm where the warehouse sits today.  Steve is still actively involved on the farm and has begun to take a more advisory role in the seed business in the last couple of years. This gives him more free time with his 7 grandkids and to spend time doing the things he enjoys around the farm.

Barry graduated from Riceville Community School in 1998 and then graduated from Kirkwood Community College in 2000 with an Associates of Applied Science in Agri-Marketing.  He then received a Bachelor of Science degree in Agronomy and International Agriculture from Iowa State University in 2002.  He spent 5 years working for Swift & Co. (now JBS, S.A.) in Greeley, CO as a Product and Pricing Specialist before returning to the family farm and business in the fall of 2007 as a sales associate.  In 2017, Barry became the Pioneer sales representative.  In the free time he does get, he spends it with his wife, Olivia, and son, Spencer, following them on their runs, biking, hiking, or golfing.

Marcus graduated from Riceville Community School in 2012.  He graduated from Iowa State University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Ag Studies,with minors in Agronomy, and Ag Systems Technology.  He spent 3 years as a district manager for another seed company before joining Christensen Agri-Seeds in the fall of 2019 to begin the partnership with Titan Pro, SCI selling crop protection products.  Marcus and his wife, Kayla, enjoy spending time with friends, snowmobiling, farming, and being outside.
